The Five Precepts

When I undergo Jukai within the Tendai tradition in July, I will take a vow to follow the five precepts. This is something that I take very seriously and have been reflecting on recently.

    Hi Al,

    I happened to stumble across your blog. I'm the woman in Ohio who'll be taking Jukai with you at Daiun-Ji in July! Random, huh? : )

    Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Looking forward to meeting you...

    Not sure if you'll have time, given your schedule while you're here (w/Juhachi-Do, etc.) but maybe we could all grab some Indian food one afternoon/evening?
