  • ... and as evidenced by the Questions of King Milinda, surely there was a Buddhist influence on the Greeks, too?
  • Well, King Milinda was Greek in the same way that I am English. He spoke a Greek language and his ancestors were Greek. He probably had some trade contacts with Greece but how much Buddhism trickled back to Greece eventually is hard to say. We know that Buddhists visited Alexandria but I'm not sure beyond that.
